Clean-A-Screen® Sheet is a mesh sheet put on the bottom of a dehydrator tray to help prevent foods that contain a lot of sugar from sticking to the drying trays, for example, bananas, tomatoes, and watermelon.
The mesh screen helps prevent small pieces of food, like celery, and various herbs, from falling through the drying trays.
Mesh sheets also help prevent juicy foods from dripping from one tray to another.
